Fannar - An Old Norse name that means snowdrift.

Fannar made his way along the tips of the mountains, like he does every winter.

It was like an enchanting dance, each footfall placed deliberately and carefully, leaving a deep print in the snow. He knew it was a shame to disturb the pure white landscape, where few dragons dared to venture, but he felt safe in the knowledge that snow would fall once again, erasing all trace of his presence.

He had to be cautious like this, as he had to be careful not to fall. Of course, as a dragon he could just fly away if he were to slip... but the beating of his wings would surely cause an avalanche and devastate the mountain side.
