Chanterelle

Chanterelle is a hunter for the clan and is easily able to blend into the trees, and while Chanterelle is not as quick and agile as Shimmer, they're much quieter, making it a lot harder for prey to detect them before it's too late. Chanterelle gets their name from the bright yellow mushrooms that adorn their body, but Chanterelle's most iconic trait is their moss wings, they've had them since they were just a hatchling and they've been growing ever since. After Chanterelle was born, their parents quickly realized that they would need to change from living in a wooden house, to living in a stone house because every time it would rain, Chanterelle's wings would give off moss spores and cause wood rot to the house. Everyone just assumed that their wings would dry out and be alright when they grew up.

Originally, Chanterelle wanted to be a fisher, but after a couple of weeks on the job with Orca and Dolphin, they quickly realized that the water there also caused the same effect, and caused the docks and crates by the water to rot. So Chanterelle was quick to join Shimmer as a skilled hunter instead, and while hunting is just as thrilling and fulfilling as fishing is to them, they still miss hanging out with Orca and Dolphin, and often visit them whenever they can.
