Allocen

Found lost, wounded, and roaming the tundra. Allocen was brought into the clan seen suffering from an unknown plague. It was nothing that could be described in traditional medicine, but an affliction of the soul. Risking infection themselves, Lox and Selvan took it upon themselves in a desperate attempt to save the poor soul. He couldn't tell them what happened or why, only that it would slowly spread and corrupt. Resigned to his fate, Allocen decided to stay, and live out the last of his days in the company of the clans residents. Each day he grew weaker, the affliction spreading rapidly, just as he told. As Lox and Selvan grew ever closer to Allo, they loved his company. Learning how to read the stars was an addicting past-time. He showed everyone who wanted to learn, especially the young. Taught them the best ways to bond with their familiars, and which ones would suite their personalities. And yet, it was short lived. He did it all because he wanted a legacy. To teach the young and old before he no longer could. It couldn't be. Wouldn't. Lox came up with an idea. It was risky and wild, but an idea when they had nothing else. Perhaps if Allocen were no longer able to grow older, the curse would come to a halt as well. She whipped up a concoction. A last ditch effort on the verge of collapse. But she did it. And it seemed to have worked. But something seemed off...
