Breadfruit

Perhaps even more stoic than Greyworm, Breadfruit is responsible for creating Everbloom's Edge. A need to be around water and away from loud gatherings led him on a days flight from the Hearth, where he found a clear and lazy river meeting the teal sea. It is here he found an old, uninhabited lair carved into the lime, a cool, damp cave system whose secrets wind ever downward into the earth. Old pillars adorned with worn carvings support the large hall in its heart, through the middle of which a groundwater stream runs. Blueflame torches light the rounded chambers, which are numerous enough for every resident to sleep isolated if they wish.

There are no bones or dusty tatters of clothes left in this place, what caused the builders to leave is unknown, but perhaps a war was lost or the clan changed alliance? No matter- the nights are safe and dark and the days lazy and shaded within the Edge. Outside, the scattered plant life of the Everbloom gardens melding into the long grass and scrub of a green coastline.

Breadfruit was once fully alone here, but he has become a great protector of the territory, eventually allowing other dragons seeking peace into the caves. Everbloom's Edge is a quiet and secluded place where many dragons keep to themselves, a contrast to the lively yet tight-knit Rootwoven Hearth, which hosts many passers-by and is often defending itself. New arrivals come to adjust to the clan, or themselves, and live in simple routines of collecting food and sleeping. Lobelia, Aspen and Lantana are the only disruption, a bickering group of young dragons who help Breadfruit with the duty of protecting the space- he often takes all burdens for himself.

The Edge isn't a separate clan, but a more isolated option for runaways and hermits.
