Unlike many dragons who had joined Crystallos Clan, Flourite was born in the Southern Icefield. Her loyalty also had to be won by the clan- no easy feat given her haughty personality. It was ultimately the clan's strong warriors that convinced her that the clan was worthy of her presence and talents, and she proceeded to outfit the largest den in the lair to her needs. She does not easily make friends with the more plentiful breeds occupying the clan (save for those who are the strongest in battle), and goes out of her way to avoid associating with magic-using healers.
Flourite is not a healer in the magical sense of the word. Instead, she makes cures for what magic cannot heal such as plagues and disease. It is speculated that she spent some time living in or near the Scarred Wasteland as her knowledge of cures and treatments far exceeds those of any of her clanmates. She is also a firm believer of not bothering the gods for help until all options are exhausted and scoffs at those who send daily prayers.
