Biography

____________
nk7xdrC.png AURELIAN
____he/him

────────────────────── ✥ ──────────────────────

Aurelian has looked Death in the eyes on more than one occasion. Stripped away from his loved ones at a young age, Aurlian was doomed for exaltation before ever being given a name. Days were spent training for the battlefield, to serve the Gladekeeper loyally. Nights were spent speaking with the plants and handcrafting gifts for the other fodder dragons.

Crafting resources were anything but plentiful, so Aurelian used what he could. The majority of what he found was scrap paper - old, torn, worn things, like him and his companions. But with technique, folding and bending, be could form them into flowers and flora. He began making chains of them, hiding them in their shared quarters and in storage closets.

Aurlian was a lucky one - while he friends were sentenced to the Gladekeeper's front lines, he was picked up by a rescue - a kind clan who bought him for more than he was worth and set him on the path to a forever home. He took up gardening during his time there, but never stopped making his little paper flowers.

Today he wears chains of paper flowers on his wings - made of notes written by exalted dragons. Letters to their home that never made it, or their last words, or even just a passing thought. Aurlian will never forget the friends he made and then lost in the fodder den.

He didn't allow himself to be held down by the memories of them, either. While he battled with the guilt of escaping where others did not, his shaded green eyes paled, and his rescuers worried he had fallen ill or mad. But when he took to the skies and clouds with vigor, they realized he had been fundamentally changed - a flower blooming into wind.
