Biography

fray, at an early age, had been blessed by a nature shaman who was revered in her impoverished village. she was told her destiny by this shaman; that she'll become a demigod sage of the forest. from then on, fray, who was only an adolescent, was swarmed by her former clan members, all begging to be touched by her divine talons. this constant crowding was extremely unhealthy for fray, who gradually became more fearful of her clansmen. they were becoming desperate for her attention, and her parents could only do so much to protect her from them.

eventually, the desperation of the crowd reached its peak. fray's parents were attacked by her clansmen, and they had quickly become overwhelmed. fray had no choice but to run away, deep into the woods where she could quickly lose her assailants. driven by panic, she got herself so deep within the gladekeeper's domain that she couldn't smell any trace of dragonkind.

poor, inexperienced fray was not accustomed to living by herself. she didn't know how to hunt yet, and after weeks of trying to survive in the wild, she was beginning to starve. as she collapsed onto the forest floor, too fatigued to move, she saw something most would only dream of.

the sunlight filtering through the trees brightened, shining onto fray and warming her up. the grass around her clung onto her scales and fed her energy. she was practically brought back to life, and had a divine tattoo emblazoned on her wing to show for it. she had regained herself, now with the energy of the forest guiding her.

her senses were enhanced, and she could now smell a civilization amidst the thicket. these divine senses led her to the ronin, who instantly recognized fray as a reborn demigod. they gave her food and drink, and invited her to stay. she accepted, now living a stress-free life in the middle of the woods with her true clansmen.

although she's socially anxious and flighty when she's around crowds, fray has a very sweet demeanor, and is regarded very fondly by the ronin.
