Winifred

Winifred is said to have been born lucky. And indeed, whenever she participates in any luck-based events or games, the odds have never been truly against her. She does not always win, of course, but she has never truly lost either. Some dragons might have used this ability to its fullest, but Winifred had always been more interested in cooking. And even here, luck is a great help, though skill is the thing that is really asked for when juggling five pots of different curry types. Something she is very proud of being able to do.

The Carnival food stalls were largely of the sweet-and-non-filling type, so instead of opening a full-scale restaurant - her original dream job - she decided to start small in a place where some food with substance would be sought out for sure. As she worked the job, it turned out that it might suit her better than a full restaurant. She could hardly cook, manage and serve every meal in a big restaurant, but could just about manage those things from her little stall at the Carnival. And sought out, she was! She had been correct to assume that eating only ice cream, cotton candy and sweets would be no good for the visitors who wanted to stay longer, and her curries soon became an essential part of the Carnival life. For the visitors as well as her neighbours.

The spices she buys from Nightshade, of course, and the two frequently meet up to come up with new special blends or to try out recipes they found between their visits. Another friend is Canyon, with whom she often goes out to train. Winifred is fond of any activities that require hard work and dedication, and as a result, her frequent training makes her just as capable as any of the Warriors in the Lair Guard. For a while, she was even mates with Cirrocumulus for a while, though they decided to amicably part ways after having two nests of eggs together. Winifred is currently not in the market for a new mate, wanting to focus on her career.
