Like her mate, Kage, Kismet is a proud shadow dragon. While Kage keeps a close watch over the young prince and his mate, Kismet prefers patrolling the outskirts of their clan's territory, defending their lair from neighboring beast clans. She works closely with Mikeala and Malik, the clan's scouts. She developed a rapport with the local serthis (given their similar body structures) early on and thus, the clan's relationship with them is a strong one. She's fluent in their language and enjoys exchanging stories and culture with them.

Kismet isn't a big fan of humor, as she often doesn't understand the punchline. Her smiles are scarce, which makes them special to those who coax them out of her. She is completely devoted to the Shadowbinder and has never left the Tangled Wood, nor does she ever desire to.
