"Hold still, Lucian. I can't get you patched up if you keep squirming like that."

Like nearly all Guardians, Hana left on her Search as soon as she was old enough to survive on her own. Already born in the Scarred Wasteland, it didn't take her long to find the Rotmarrow Clan- and along with it, the dragon who would become her Charge.

Lucian did not make a great first impression, delirious as he was at the time. Still, Hana managed to look past his frightening appearance and crazed ramblings; there was something heartbreaking about seeing such a magnificent dragon in such a poor state, and it didn't take her long to realize that he was to be her Charge. She took over much of the caretaking while he recovered, and though he remains somewhat thin for a Guardian, she's proud of how much progress he's made.

On the other claw, there's the issue of Lucian's blood magic and its toll on him. Hana has come to terms with the fact that she'll never be able to make him give it up, and instead dutifully looks after him as he heals. She wraps his wounds, makes sure he gets enough food and water, and helps him sleep when his worries keep him awake. They're often found side by side, a wing wrapped around the other and their claws intertwined.
