Iris

At a glance:
Only perceived to be alive by some, Iris is not exactly a living dragon. She's only alive to those who recognize her as such, otherwise merely appearing as a life-sized dragon plush. Instead of scales and organs, her body is made out of stuffing and varying fabrics. Her end goal is to always be helpful, even to the point of taking her body apart in the process.

In depth:
It's a myth that dragons who are not hatched but made are made by the gods themselves for a specific purpose. For Iris, that certainly felt true. Her memory just started one day as a hatchling-sized plush. Over the years, her patches have changed colors, both from her own rips and tears from accidents and giving up her fabric in order to heal others. Her fabric, when applied to the other dragons, transforms into a fabric pattern that mimics their scale patterns and eventually into real scales.

Due to her habit of using her own body to heal others, she soon developed a need to do so in order to feel loved. Normal fabric works for her own repairs, but not for others unless it comes from her body.

Iris experiences object sentience and communicates with them at times. Most often in cases of a hatchling being hurt and unable to speak.
