Amethyst is often described by those around her as "kind, but eccentric" and although the last bit is often said with an exhausted sigh, they know that's just how she always will be and always has been; at least.. since she entered the clan.
Previously, Amethyst was a designer in a large clan that had been having some.. civic problems. Amethyst was born in the middle of the conflict. Never having known anything else; she grew up relatively guarded. Disguising sharp words she used as a necessity with a sweet tone she wished she could always use. She adored fashion and doling out compliments left and right. But she knew better, as long as she was in her birth clan, anything she said could be used against her, compliments could be spun into nefarious intentions.
Ever since she finally made the decision to leave - sneaking out when night patrols were elsewhere - she had been happier than ever. Excitement spilled out with every word she said, every step she took. Eventually, she found her current home, one she was originally secretly hesitant of, but quickly warmed up to. She's stayed put ever since, happy with the dragons she surrounds herself with and the community she now lives in.
