Biography

ZBhcYpS.png

Ever since he was a hatchling, Potiron has had exceptionally vivid, beautiful dreams. Every night he looks forward to the lovely trips through his imagination. Unfortunately, every time he tried to describe them to the dragons in his home clan, all he got in return was looks of horror and disgust.

Poor Potiron, he has such terrible nightmares. Poor Potiron, what a troubled mind. Poor Potiron.

Why couldn't they see how sweetly he slept? Why did the other hatchlings recoil in fear when he tried to delight them with recollections of his dazzling fantasies?

One day, he decided to try to find others who would share his enthusiasm for his visions. He left his birthplace and voyaged to the clan of his mother, Imaginary. Strangely, he began to recognize landmarks from his reveries more and more frequently, his joy building with each memory discovered.

Upon arrival, Potiron rejoined his mother and relayed his woes to her. She listened solemnly, her face not betraying a hint of the harsh judgement he was so accustomed to receiving. When he finished his tale, she told him she knew where he was meant to be.

He followed her eagerly into the darkest depths of the Hibernal Den. Pushing down to a cavern that looked almost abandoned, they came upon the sight of a group of creatures and dragons unlike any he'd ever seen in his homeclan. They were monstrous, vile, wicked... and absolutely wonderful. He immediately knew this was where his destiny lay. Imaginary smiled as he scampered hastily into the cave and eagerly introduced himself.

From then on, Potiron helped the other dragons of the Monster Mash to pass the long hours and waiting for Halloween to come by regaling them with the vivid details of his dreams, sometimes building off of them and creating grand, horrifying epics that enthralled the others.
