"No mountain seems too high when you don't think about climbing it." Adiantum was always different, even from birth. Compared to her siblings she didn't seem to be able to muster the energy to care about anything. When she left her birth clan, it was a well thought out plan as opposed to being due to any particular desire to explore. The same cold logic was what led her to eventually settle down with the Hotaru clan. She was almost instantly recruited by Blueberry, the Seer interested in her abilities coming from a water clan. Working in the small tower dedicated to the seers, Adiantum went from day to day without feeling much of anything. Entering the tower one day, though, she found a nervous coatl standing in the middle of the chamber, babbling as he clutched a package to his chest. Something about him sparked her interest for the first time since she could remember. Adiantum made sure she was there the next few times the coatl came by until one day he simply stopped coming, the messengers comprised of other dragons. After a time, Adiantum began coming up with reasons to get packages delivered, using her scrying skills to look more for opportunities than for trouble. Over time she and the coatl began to get to know one another, although she never fully bothered to learn his name. Due to his preference for bright colors, Adiantum began to dress up in brilliant green garb in order to continue to hold his attention. |

Like most water dragons Adiantum has the ability to see into the future, although usually she doesn't care enough about what she finds. As a result, she tends to be put to easier tasks, such as divining the best spots to hunt, as opposed to looking for approaching hostiles or major events that could affect the clan. Her relationship with Savi is complicated; they live together and occasionally have clutches together but he is more focused on his job while she could care less about most aspects of their arrangement, provided she can continue to study him. Blueberry suspects her attraction is due to the other's intense feelings about his messenger company being a draw to one who has never felt such a strong emotion. Hobbies: None. Does not have enough of an interest to pursue any task for very long, although she does enjoy following Savi around. Name Origin: A species of fern known as maidenhair fern.
