Shade is a writer who prefers to keep to herself, however she isn't exactly all that introverted. She first came here to write about the happenings of Everfrost Labs and the entire thawing out of the two dragons. That took longer than expected, and despite the chaos of this place and the (very unconventional) science that holds it together - she found some charm within it all. It gave her so much inspiration, she simply had to stay! Well... There was another reason she stayed, too.

She often helps as a gatherer to clear her head from brainstorming any writing ideas. Sometimes she even helps in the lab with writing statistics and other important notes.
She doesn't stick around 24/7, though, as she still sometimes goes out for interviews and other jobs as a journalist, but her residence is in the Everfrost lair.

The other reason she stayed is because she became very infatuated with the lead defender and fighter of the clan - Pezzottaite. Her beauty and fierce personality struck her heart, which caused her to want to stay even more. Eventually, as time went on they got to know each other and even becoming mates. Shade adores writing poems specifically for Pezzottaite, and it makes Pezzottaite melt everytime. A warrior with a soft heart of gold!
