Quiet and reserved around most dragons. Will not speak unless spoken to, making him a fly on the wall in most clan meetings. Docile and sensitive, making him perfect for caring for young. His pouch carries first aid supplies, for the last thing you want in the Scarred Wasteland is a seriously infected dragon, let alone a seriously infected hatchling, as far as he's concerned. However, no matter how hard one tries, you cant fully 'childproof' a plague nest.

As of late, Penumbra has seemed to get more insistent on spiritual cleansing, bestowing blessings upon some hatchlings he favors. Some dragons can't shake the eerie feeling he gives off, even when his intentions have historically been nothing but pure. The 'blessed' hatchlings do seem more lively and energized...

Children of Magala and Penumbra are mysteriously born with the abilities Magala's familiar has granted them, as well as the full or partial blindness. Scales shed much more readily, and they carry with them a strange virus that seems to enrage and warp the minds of infected dragons. Those in other flights have found ways to reverse the effects, but plague and shadow dragons can never seem to wholly remove the vestiges. Cures aside, some still may see a benefit to these cloaks of maddening disease and darkness... Tread carefully.
