The self-declared Emperor of the cultivation world, Mo Ran Taxian Jun from《二哈和他的白猫师尊》 Husky and His White Cat Shizun and 《皓衣行》 Immortality Taxian Jun means Lord Who Treads on Immortals/Cultivators. When Mo Ran was a teenager, his sect brother Shi Mei was killed, and Mo Ran blamed his death on their shizun Chu Wanning, who seemingly refused to do anything to help, literally turning his back on them. Afterwards, the formerly kind and gentle Mo Ran turned into cruel and violent man, venting his grief and anger on the cultivation world at large, but specifically at his supposedly cold-hearted shizun. Mo Ran eventually mastered two of the three Forbidden Techniques, and used them to subjugate the cultivation world and declare himself emperor Taxian Jun, and began a reign that would cover the world in ashes and blood. Eventually he died by his own hand after finding the world to be too cold and empty of a place after the death of his most-loathed person, his shizun Chu Wanning. However, instead of being cast into the underworld, Mo Ran instead finds himself waking up as a teenager, seemingly having been gifted the chance to re-live his life... His familiar is named 不归 "Bu Gui" (no return) after his sword, whose name suddenly appeared on the blade after the death of his shizun.
