Carnations (japanese: kaneshon) are a sweet symbol of love. They are often given and received as caring gifts to close family members and significant others. .

Kaneshon was a gift, given to a rich family as a hatchling in order to win their favor. She was beautiful; her fur soft and bright, her eyes a brilliant green.

There she was kept for many years, pampered and paraded around, not allowed much freedom, until she grew older. Although still beautiful, the house did not want to keep an adult dragon around for no real purpose. She was cast out, with nothing but a few gems.

There she had to make her own way. Luckily her beauty helped her make her way through this tough world. It's not easy, leaving everything you've ever known.

But she preferred it to being part of that family where she knew she never belonged.
