The Creeping Sickness

In a world with Cleansers, who rid the lands of sickness and death, there are also their opposites: The Corrupt. Their purpose is to carefully spread the seeds of sickness among the living, targeting the already weak or depraved.

Many think the Corrupt are evil, that they're malicious, but being a Corrupt is just another job. Much like the predators of the savannah, they keep the populations healthy and sustainable by the culling of the weak and sick.

Not many dragons pretend to understand them. Being a Corrupt is lonely, but a necessary evil. Due to most dragon's aversions to them, they often attract vultures and other scavengers to their tail.
