The golden lances of the sun's light paint the golden plains of the fields. Soft gnashing of teeth against grain echoes across the plains as dozens of dwarf unicorns eat their lunch meal. A shadow spreads across the center of the herd from the wide Nocturne wings that guard them against harm.

Sadira holds her beacon of light up, currently dull while they eat during the day, and keeps her head on a swivel to protect the herd. When a loud bellowing horn blows from the nearby woods, Sadira sits up and launches from her perch on a pile of rocks. She shakes her staff to alert the herd as she flies around them. She rounds them up towards the sounding horn. The herds are her responsibility and she shall guide them as the Shepherd of her clan.
