Starin

When Starin first entered the clan, he became a source of worry for the formerly oldest pearlcatcher in the clan, Isato. Isato feared that the older pearlcatcher would know the ways of the Gossip even more, with better refined techniques for learning the secrets of others. He followed the pearlcatcher for several weeks, before realising he had absolutely nothing to fear. The older pearlcatcher was more interested in gossip related entirely with the apparel and other dragons' styles within the clan. Isato was relieved, for his gossip related more to hidden secrets and the hidden lives of others. With no overlap, he was happy to let the older pearlcatcher continue on unchanged...

Starin quickly became friends with the only other real fashionista within the clan, Garnet. He found the brightest and most cheerful apparel he could find, determined to make a real statement. He soon paired up with the most fabulous of familiars and set about to change the clan.

Unfortuntely, as Garnet found before him, the majority of the dragons of Kaitos are determined to remain unchanged. Despite the duo's attempts to bring the others round, so far they have only managed to convince a few of the hatchlings to play dress up - something seen more as fun than Serious Business. Starin, however, refuses to give up, determined that one day Clan Kaitos will be seen as the most fashionable clan in the entirety of Sornieth, no matter how much they resist!
