Eden, Gaia, Terra, Asherah. Whatever you call her, she is the mother goddess, the very earth herself. Each of her separate names is a distinct incarnation of her greater being. In this instance of herself, she represents the Garden of Eden. She was there long before YHWH ever left his mark on the earth, and she will persist even after. She bore five children on her own, Lilith, Ziz, Behemoth, Leviathan, and HaSatanael. Each would rise in opposition to YHWH.
