Semolina

There might not be a perfect word to describe Semolina's role in this clan, which is probably why the clan itself is so hard to define. "Matriarch" would imply Semolina makes any attempt at being a mother. "Queen" carries legitimacy - real or imagined - which Semolina simply doesn't have. "Ruler" suggests she has any actual authority over the other dragons. "Founder" implies a purposefulness to the creation of this clan - besides, if anybody founded this clan it was Ringo. No, she wasn't the founder, but this clan wouldn't exist without Semolina. She's not a ruler, but the dragons around her tend to hang onto her every word anyway. She's no queen, but that's often how her clan refers to her. And despite her deficiencies in motherhood, her clan is growing stronger by the day.

Semolina views herself as the guide for a Magical Mystery Tour, a semi-nomadic group seeking to document everything supernatural and unusual. Those drawn to Semolina and her Tour are exactly who you'd expect to hang around an occultist cult: oddballs, mystics, and dragons who just want to see where the tour ends. These dragons enjoy the freedom of movement and exultation in learning that the Tour offers. But their research serves a hidden purpose. Most of the Tourists assume that the tour itself is Semolina's charge and trust her because of that. They're wrong. Semolina is chargeless. But soon, she hopes, the Magical Mystery Tour will find her purpose.
