Taranis is a wanderer, with a complicated and fractious past he'd prefer never to confront again. His parents were skilled in influencing others, possessed of great beauty and charisma. They never anticipated just how perilous a child of their blood, bearing the talents of a Lightning mage and the looks of a prince, could become.

Level 25 Affinity Manifestation: Concillium
Taranis can use his precise control over lightning to send minuscule pulses of electricity through the bodies of others, releasing dopamine and other hormones in his targets and making them positively disposed toward him. If faced with enemies he cannot talk down, he is capable of using larger electric pulses to cause muscle spasms in enemies, and even to control their bodies if necessary. Unfortunately, repeated use of either ability causes irreparable damage to the nerves of beings it is used upon. For this reason, he manipulates the emotions of allies he intends to keep more sparingly, only using his abilities once or twice at the onset of a relationship.
