"Jadeite's color commonly ranges from white through pale apple green to deep jade green, but can also be blue-green (like the recently rediscovered "Olmec Blue" jade), pink, lavender and a multitude of other rare colors. Chloromelanite is a very dark green to black variety. Color is largely affected by the presence of trace elements such as chromium and iron. Its translucence varies from opaque to almost clear. Variations in color and translucence are often found even within a single specimen."

Both a skilled Jeweler and a talented enchanter, Jade has made quite a name for himself in The Claw Shaped Mountain lair. He advertises an assortment of jobs he can do for any dragon; Custom made jewelry, enchanting existing jewelry, disenchanting existing jewelry (More commonly advertised as "curse-breaking"), and appraisals. His prices tend to run on the higher end of things, but the quality of his work tends to convince most. While some dragons gripe about his seemingly shady advertising practices, he isn't technically doing anything against the law. Should enchantments meant to stifle hunger really be advertised as "diet charms?" No. Should simple spells meant to enhance a stones sparkle be sold as a " better quality jewel?" Also no. Is anything he is doing illegal? No.
Well, mostly no. There are some rumors that circulate the more sinister alleyways of the lair regarding his work with the previous king, some going as far as to say that Jade was instrumental in the previous king's - A dragon by the name of Ralof - decline. As none of the Royal Jewels could be found with any harmful spells on them, however, Jade walked free. If you catch him completely off guard (an impossible feat without liquor, which he despises), you may find him giggling about the previous King's illness and how he was, and then subsequently not, treating it. You may also find him murmuring about missing Ralof, as they were somewhat close.


Well, as close as one could be while still planning on staging a coup, but that's neither here nor there.
