Main Theme:Time-eliminating Light

______ The light shines endlessly, the fire at the heart of everything. The distilled essence of exponential nothingness, bright and searing like the inner sun of a black hole. An Old Thing, disguised as a God, the Scarlet turn into rotten sallow flesh that fuses and brakes apart. Shapes without substance, colours without form, a swirling of particles and waves that coalesce and disperse in an instant, a dream of light and darkness, endless and without end.
Dawnpoet sees this truth, the truth of the Weaving Light, the truth that she had covered with her bloody lies.

There is nothing inherent in seeing a greater being that “drives you insane”, it’s that this being doesn’t fit into your previous worldview at all and you have to wrestle that. Everyone reacts differently, changing in ways that “make sense” for them. It’s either a change in worldview or attempting to fit the greater being into your preexisting one.
Dawnpoet sees the truth, that the Light Goddess was not her mother, not even a mother at all. Not a birth mother, not a nurturing mother, not a caring mother.
It was not a mistake, she snaps the necks of her children on purpose, the Void screamed, and she took the pieces and made the Veilspun, sallow flesh healed and reformed.
Dawnpoet sees the truth, and the truth burns her insides, a flame of anger and pain. She will not go gentle into that good night, she will go screaming, clawing, and biting into that hatful light.
