Majora is the adopted daughter of the Monarchs of the Ashen Mystery Clan and a warrior-in-training. She acts very proud and regal and attempts to make a strong impression on any dragon she meets. Her mother told her once to never back down from a challenge, and she's taken that to heart, being courageous and daring to a point where the line between her bravery and, for lack of a better word, stupidity blur. Though she is similar to her mother in many ways, she's far more immature and oftentimes even petty. She's also quite jealous by nature, though her Left tends to suppress this more. Deep down, she's actually insecure about her appearance as well as being extremely anxious and doubtful about her future, though she has not yet confided this in anyone.

S T O R Y

Not much is known about her birth parents, but since she was found half-dead in the middle of Fire Flight territory, it is doubtful they were good or responsible dragons. She was loved and cared for by Queen Ayxa and King Angelo, however, and had a fine childhood besides that. Ayxa trained her in the art of battle and was an intense but good teacher. Angelo was responsible for reinforcing the traits that would mold her into a capable and beloved Queen. As she grew, she was finally allowed to go on a solo patrol around a secure border of the territory. There, she met an Obelisk patiently waiting at the boundary. She boldly confronted him with her Left head's strong voice: "You're at the border of the Ashen Mystery Clan. State your name and purpose." He blinked lazily. "Name's Koi. I'm just sittin'. You're an Aberration, correct? Twice the handsome face - nice." Her Right face felt hot as her Left spluttered for a reply. "Okay- thank you- but you're sort of, like, right on my territory, so unless you've got A, business, or B, a death wish, you should probably go." Koi snorted at this. "You're feisty. I like that in a dragon. Take me to your Monarch?" After a moment of consideration, her Right head lifted. "Come along, pretty boy. You've scored an appointment with Queen Ayxa."

She and Koi bonded fast, as the Obelisk proved himself a talented warrior and a fine guardian. Under the watchful eye of Ayxa, they sparred and trained daily, testing one another's strength and courage. Much to the dismay of Majora's parents, they began frequently sneaking out and engaging in dares and activities that are technically illegal. Ayxa, upon finding this out, was frustrated and upset, believing that this was a bad omen for her daughter's reign, but Angelo, while still worried, was more empathetic. "They're kids, love. Why not let them have that for a little longer? Besides, we aren't going anywhere - not for a while." Little were the Monarchs aware, this growing rift between them and their daughter was not only due to the dragoness' rebellious phase, but also their shift in attention and affection from her to their new blood children, Princesses April and Felicity. This was an envy Majora would only confess to Koi, who comforted her in turn and gave her the love she craved. This deep bond between herself and Koi was soon cracked, however, as a new pair of faces arrived in the Clan. As Queen Ayxa introduced Pierre to Majora, her Right head let out an undignified squeal before her Left made to quickly compose herself, attempting to cover the noise with a cough. "I said- another Aberration! That's new. You don't see many of us." The young prophet blinked calmly at her with both sets of eyes, both mouths curling into a pair of peaceful smiles. "You certainly don't. I look forward to serving you, Princess Majora. I trust that your family will make good use of my gifts." Majora blinked back at him. "Would you like to join my friend Koi and me on a patrol tomorrow?" Pierre graciously accepted, dipping both heads, and Majora felt warmth rise in her chest. Perhaps there was someone she could confide in. After all, they were the same.

The world around her seemed to slow to a snail's pace as she finally broke through the panicked crowd, seeing the long green - and red - shape of her mother lying on the ground. Trembling, she stumbled forward, resting one talon on the Spiral's forehead. Both sets of eyes were wide, her Right's already brimming with shocked tears. "What happened here?" Her Left's voice, always so strong and sharp, was quivering and cracked as she spoke. She was vaguely aware of Koi pressing against her comfortingly, and his low growl as another dragon calmly pushed through the bustling cluster. Pierre. Immediately, she tore herself away from Koi and surged into his offering arms, her Right sobbing into his chest. When her tears finally stopped, it was as though her mind had drifted from her body. She watched as the alchemists and doctors of the Clan fussed over their Queen, watched as her father, his eyes welling, announced the love of his life's comatose state, watched the stone ceiling of the Lair of Royalty as she failed to sleep. The world passed by in a flurry of dull colors as she simply drifted.
