"the golden one"

My personal lore for Aberrations, which may or may not stick to canon lore...
Aberrations were never meant to be created. They were the Plaguebringer's accidental children, a result of curious experimentation. After scrapping them and leaving them in the Wyrmwound, she never thought she would see them rise from the brink of death as something entirely different...
The Windsinger saw these... strange looking creatures and created the Skydancers, and gave them much more stable forms with just one head and a less menacing appearance. The Plaguebringer wasn't too happy about that, and her ego definitely took a hit. She is rather proud of them because they embody what the Plague Flight stands for: survival of the fittest. They proved themselves worthy against all odds, so she sees them as her children.
Aberrations have mixed opinions on their creator. Some feel proud of the fact that they are the embodiment of what Plague stands for and they carry this with pride, while others resent the Plaguebringer for their questionable origins. They were essentially scrapped aside and left for dead, and only after proving themselves worthy they were loved. Weren't we good enough originally? Why did she give up on us? Are we a mistake?
What kind of deity does that to her beloved children, anyway?
