Gray is energy given the form of a lightning wielding shounen protagonist. They're passionate in EVERYTHING they do, from combat training to animal husbandry to friendship making to anything related to food. They do everything they can for the people they care about, and have a natural affinity for strategy and mathematics, but at times they're suprisingly flighty. They'll disappear on wild adventures without warning, completely forgetting that it could worry loved ones or leave someone depending on them for something out to dry.
When confronted by moral nuance or their own genuine hypocrisies, they get overwhelmed and shy away from the problem entirely. This is shown at its worst in their relationship with Jason, who treats others with cruelty behind Gray's back, despite their insisting not to. They aren't sure how to address the situation, and in their uncertainty end up doing very little about it at all, usually avoiding serious conversation. Jason is genuinely unaware that Gray has such complicated feelings on the matter.
