The sun gently covers the grounds of a semi hidden garden full of flowers rarely seen by dragon kind. Amidst the flowers of gold and red a bird perch sits with several chirping friends. It's soft breaths would startle any traveler that happens across the scene. The perch was actually a large sleeping dragon, the viridian leaves of the flowers covering his entirety while the chartreuse leaves above dancing in the gentle breeze cast shadows over him. This is a normal scene when looking for Root.
"Hello?" A small voice calls out. Unsure of themself as they look for the dragon that is supposed to pass off the medicine. Recently there had been a pandemic racking the clan, but according to the patriarch this dragon made a cure. "Um .. Mr. Root? Are you here?" The little fae calls out. They look around nervously, they relax only slightly before a butterfly lands on their face causing the fae to scream in a panic before tripping over a large mound of chocolate fur which raises slightly to catch the fumbling fae.
"What is it, little guy? It's just a faery mount." his large body shook with laughter, scattering the birds. He looks at the fae with curious eyes before standing to his full height. "Did Izoran send you for the medicine?" the fae nods his head in a panic.
"He.. I.. Um. I… think?"
Root hesitates 'Did I break him?' It's not uncommon for dragons to be afraid of him. He hmmm a sound before plucking a carrot free from his recent collection and handing it to the fae. "Eat this while I get the mixture." extremely confused, the fae takes a hesitant bite from the carrot. The flavor exploded in his mouth as he starts to gap.
He shouts out startling the Gaoler, moments before the fae frantically flies forward to land in front of Root. "WHAT?! WHY IS IT SO GOOD???
Root hesitates before mumbling something about there being magic in the ground and then gently moves the fae to grab the medicine for the clan. "Just a drop once a day is enough to treat the illness. Stay safe traveling back."
One week later
'Why is everyone calling me carrot…'
