Fier (Fee-air) had a mostly normal childhood with his siblings. Well, for the most part—when Fier was only a couple days old, he was kidnapped by a dragon from another clan. Nobody in Oovalia is sure how it happened. Noivio and Faya believe the culprit had to have used a lot of magic to avoid being detected. But before anyone—especially Ferocity and Vichen—could tear through every other clan to find Fier, he suddenly appeared at the clan’s home again, scared but safe and uninjured. When asked about it now, he doesn’t know how or why he came back so quickly.

In reality… Fier knows what happened. He remembers the fear and the horrors he saw as well as what he saw when he was being rescued. He refuses to talk about it to anyone, though. Not only does he not want his family to worry about him even more, but he doesn’t even have the vocabulary to explain some of the things he saw. His savior wasn’t even a dragon. The multiple pairs of wings and that blue glare are still burned in his memories. They didn’t utter a word, yet it feels forbidden for him to talk about them, as if there was some unspoken agreement between them that this would be kept a secret. He came back to his clan safe, but it left him with many unanswered questions.

Now an adult, Fier is known to be very quiet. Sometimes he can be seen talking to or playing a game with Mytrin, but he’s usually seen drawing or writing most of the time. His family worries about him, but they don’t want to stress him out. Asking him about what happened not only leaves them with more questions than answers, but it seems to upset him as well, so they usually drop the subject. Fier is thankful for this. Although he does feel guilty about not telling them, he prefers time alone to think.

Who were they? he often finds himself wondering.
