S R A O S H A
The Obedient

"You never know how much you really believe anything until its truth or falsehood becomes a matter of life and death to you."

boNUHo3.png

Sraosha, the Deity of Religious Obedience, is one of the three Judges who values the Souls of those who have passed away, deciding their faith in the Afterlife. Together with Mithra and Rashnu he stands on the Bridge of the Requiter, where the life of each Soul will be weighed on the golden scale to determine their past deeds and bring upon them fair judgement for their future in Hela's Queendom, no matter their previous status or wealth in life. Should the Good Thoughts, Words, and Deeds outweigh the Bad, Sraosha conveys the Soul across the Bridge.

Sraosha's name means 'to hearken' for he truly listens to those that are willing to hear his words as well. He is the messenger, the mediator, the one to guide and provide wisdom, both to the living as well as to those who have passed. While he feels no pity for those who are deemed unworthy and are to be send to the claws of Chaos, he will not show any ill will towards a Soul, unlike Rashnu. When the Scales are unbalanced and stuck in the middle, he will function as arbitrator, providing a Soul the opportunity to prove their worth and resolve past wrongs.
