- Kroos is a keeper of Mirage Grove, the mystical forest hidden on the border between Wilderness and Lilaethi. This place in unofficially excluded from Elithea's jurisdiction and not all of Night Children can enter these woods. It's said that one cannot find the Mirage Grove on their own, it will find you at the right moment.
- Kroos and all of her henchmen are called Wildlings, they are generally considered members of Sanctuary, but have much more autonomy and share a partnership based on mutual respect. Night children don't interfere with their internal politics and don't desecrate the Mirage Grove, and in return Wildlings don't expand over Lilaethi and don't attack Night Children out in the Wilderness.
- In her circle, Kroos is considered a soul daughter of Acasandre, which gives her great respect and obedience amongs other Wildlings.
- She wields arcana of auramancy, which makes her exceptional hunter able to quickly track down any prey and no one can hide from her in the Grove.
