Lupus has been around for a very long time. Starting life as an unassuming hatchling from the Sunbeam ruins but slowly becoming one of the wisest dragons Metztli had ever come across. He traveled the whole of the land. From the deepest trench in the sea of a thousand currents to the highest peaks of dragonhome. Lupus never quite found a home that stood out like that of the Scorpus clan. So diverse and loving he was stunned to see the red eyes of their leader.

The tundra nodded, "I am, my Ma and Pa raised me here, right by the sundial."

"Humph," the pearlcatcher laughed, "'ma and pa' that is something now. You do know why you are here, my fuzzy friend?"

Lupus took a small breath, this dragon was not a friend, "no, sir, I don't."

The pearlcatcher leaned closer, "I want you to leave, star boy. Leave and do not ever come back. The Lightweaver does not want filth in her land. I do not want fur all over my home."

Lupus took a sharp breath and broke his meditation. That nearly forgotten memory shocking him back to reality. He wasn't a child relaxing in the hewn city. He was a wise man for his clan. A mystic, with magic and knowledge that exceeded that haughty priest of the lightweaver.
