Biography
Newt
Watchful Gardener
-He/him, questioning
-Though it's clear he came from the Windswept Plateau, not many can say they know anything about Newt's life or what led him to work for the SAR Facility. The current public understanding is simply that he rolled into town one day looking for work, and managed to charm Moonrun enough that the kindly old man agreed to let him tend to the gardens around the facility. And he's continued that job for years ever since, quietly keeping things in check before returning to wherever it is he happens to live. But with such a mysterious character, rumors and gossip are bound to spread - as they always do in the Starwood Strand. Some folks say he's an outlaw, and that's why he keeps so lowkey. Some say he's really doing some super secret work for SAR, and only poses as a gardener to hide his involvement. Some say he's actually related to Moonrun. Some rumors say he may not even be a normal dragon, but a monster put to work by the facility (if you even believe those stupid stories that they catch monsters lol). And others say he's the ghost of a worker who passed in a mysterious accident in the facility. It's all.... quite silly. Which is probably why Newt has never felt a need to correct anyone on their theories. People enjoy coming up with stories more than they'd ever enjoy knowing the truth.
-Newt is a very soft-spoken and careful man. Everything he does, he does in kindness. Making others happy is what brings him the most fulfillment in his meager existence. Most would be bold and in your face to achieve such a thing, but he finds the enjoyment brought from joking around and making a fool out of yourself is so short-lived. Making a genuine effort to listen to others, understand where they're coming from, and help them in whatever way you're able to do - the happiness from those actions last so much longer no matter how small the gestures are. Though he doesn't interact with people much, as he's somewhat shy and a bit of a recluse... but whenever he does, he always seems to know what to say. Or he always has some admittedly cryptic advice to offer. You'd never find him willingly talking to some of the more mysterious characters around the facility though. Mephistopheles and his business associates.... he steers well clear of them. Moonrun is only an exception because of his employment under the facility.
-Not Partnered, hasn't really considered it.
