Ooze

This guy is just so beautiful; I have no idea why.

An impulse dream dragon, Ooze is a replacement for this lad. He was a fodder rescue that I saw in auction one day and fell in love with. He was snagged by an exalting lair before I could purchase him, but the player was kind enough to sell him back to me. Eventually, I searched around and noticed this guy with the same color combo and eye type. I liked the names of his parents better than my other dragon, so I decided to replace him.

Pale as Death...

Ever since he was found, Ooze was forced to fight against dark beings. As a child, he was severely scarred from all the fights he endured, but he pushed through and survived. Because of this upbringing, he became one of the deadliest inhabitants in the area. He is incredibly strong and clever, knowing exactly how to fight monsters, and he is also rather brave. Ooze has many mutations across his body, some of which are spikes, extra claws, and misaligned bones; and he also has a few additional limbs. He usually feels sore and doesn't like to touch things more than necessary. His body is coated with a ghostly slime substance, and his frill is fleshy and raw.

Ooze has always struggled with his family relationships. He hatched, completely alone, within a dreary graveyard. The smell of death still lingered as he broke out of his battered shell, and he cried out in fear and pain. Two drakes nearby heard him, and they knew that he could be useful. His adoptive parents were a wicked and abusive twosome, and they hurt him very badly as he grew up. The only reason they took him home was to put him to work in fending off dark creatures. As he grew up, his parents became darker and more cruel, but eventually a disease took both of their lives within the same night. Finally, Ooze was free. Unknowing of anything else other than evil, he was shocked to find how kind Oregano was, even though she was afraid. Fearing more abuse, Ooze tried to avoid speaking with her or interacting much. After he killed an attacking monster, however, the fluffy drake stuck close to him in hopes of receiving protection. Ooze didn't object, but he continued to ignore her attempts at chatting and acted blank when near her. Oregano wasn't sure what to think of him, but she knew he'd bring safety even if he wouldn't bring companionship. The pair continued to wander as Ooze journeyed throughout the dead world, trying to search for meaning in his life. He began to grow fond of his new partner, and he saved her life every time it was threatened. Finally, Ooze cared enough to actually talk with her, much to Oregano's surprise. His voice was soft and tentative, but Oregano immediately jumped on the chance to communicate, and soon the two drakes became close friends. Ooze, accustomed to the unhealthy behaviors of his parents, never really considered anything more than friendship with his accomplice. However, the day finally came when Oregano brought up the idea to become mates. Ooze was startled by the suggestion, and he had a lot of thinking to do before he had his answer. Oregano had braced herself for a negative reply, though it still made her sad. However, Ooze pleasantly surprised her and they both agreed to a wedding. After marriage, the couple only continued to grow closer together, and they loved each other deeply. Oregano finally remembered all of her memories a few weeks later, and she immediately longed to return to her home. Ooze was apprehensive, but he knew it would be best and agreed to travel to the Galdeshadow Province. After arrival, he was accepted with open arms into Oregano's loving family. The couple lived there happily ever since.
