Biography
Draehm
-
Gardener | Spiteful | Judgmental | Expressive Alignment: Lawful Neutral Orientations: Bisexual | Male Song: Counting Stars - Ironix Remix |
Draehm never wanted to be part of any clan. He didn't like other dragons and he was completely content to live by himself. It worked for a long while, living and fending for himself without the nuisance of someone else's presence. By himself, he was quite capable, and that was that.
Unfortunately, sometimes there are circumstances beyond what anyone could have anticipated. Draehm was traveling along the delta when he passed through some brush and came face to face with a particularly nasty Serthis witch. She struck without a moment's consideration, and Draehm barely made it out alive. While he was more than capable of recovering from the slashes and bruises, she cast some wicked curses. The system of magicka coursing through his body was compromised and no longer under his control. Being a Fae, he was born knowing how to cast spells, but not anymore. The curses cut off the mana from his mind and it instead funnels directly to his claws. Everything they touch turns to rot and decay, and without the ability to turn it off, it's become more than he can handle alone. Ruhearst was in the midst of his travel when he came across Draehm. He ignored the Fae's hisses and threats and inspected his claws, offering him a possible solution. It meant him having to take up residence among other dragon, but Ruhearst assured him he'd find it worth it. Just because he's here by his own will, doesn't mean he's going to put an effort in getting along with every dragon here. Even so, with such an eclectic group, it's hard to make an enemy of everyone. While he waits for Khord to find a way to remedy his problem, Likyr got him working near the gardens. His powers of decay helps speed up the process of making fertilizer (and wine), so they were definitely happy to keep him around. It allows him to keep to himself for the most part, so he's more than okay with it.
