Misfortune

Misfortune is the demon of bad luck. He serves one purpose and one purpose only, to spread his namesake across the world. He is the dragon to blame when you stub your toe, when you burn a dish you are cooking, when you lose your keys moments after you put them down. He is the demon whom makes you forget what you are talking about mid sentence, or lose just a single sock from your new pair of socks. He feels joy and pleasure from spreading disasters to those around him.

He and Luck are truly, deeply in love and enjoy their jobs. Though they don't work in exactly the same way they do compare notes. They have been together for centuries upon centuries. if something was to happen to Luck, Misfortune would likely use his abilities to rend the entire world unlivable. Luck does sometimes keep Misfortune from going too far down the path of chaos, and he appreciates her all the more for keeping him from ruining their fun.

Misfortune feeds on the souls of those he has caused to have bad luck. As such, he removes all traces of bad luck from their bodies, leaving them ripe and ready to be fed from by Luck.
