Odell was the successful child of his parents experiment before the finally got together realizing they absolutely adore each other, it wasn’t cruel experiments like the Organization does, it was just seeing if they were capable of having a child when one was a watermelon and the other wasn’t. All of his siblings weren’t watermelons like him, and most didn’t survive long. His parents keep him close because of this and it wasn’t until he showed a aptitude for time manipulation and science that his parents finally decided to tell him about his heritage.

As a watermelon with the smarts of his parents and power to manipulate time, he’s considered to be a bit odd by his watermelon kindred much like his mother, so he doesn’t hang around them often.
He works in a different field of science from his parents preferring to study other worlds and how they work this has lead him to have many different lovers in a effort to see if his species and others can also have children much like his parents did, He absolutely adores Multiverse Theory and is great friends with his Cousin Stephen who has been around the multiverse.

Odell can sometimes be a handful because of his studies and sometimes needs to be dragged back home when he tries to take his studies further with others when they don’t want to. Some of his cousins are surprised he hasn’t been drove into the organizations clutches by his sheer curiosity, but maybe some day he won’t be so lucky, after all Lulu has been spotted around and she seems to be up to something.
