Kite

Despite his small size, Kite is First, and leads the clan. He was born in a small patch of seaweed near the shore, and initially made his home within a small island of mangrove trees. That island, the seaweed field, and the nearby coral reef eventually became home to a full dragon flight that he never expected to end up leading. Eventually, the decision was made to move up to proper land and into the trees for the chance at having a more spacious and interesting home.

He's often very clumsy, and not at all the most wise, but he's got a mind like a steel trap when it comes to facts and numbers and stray bits of information. He is very good at solving puzzles, and enjoys collecting books and scrolls about anything and everything. While Snitch favors tending to the treasury, Kite enjoys keeping everything else organized, including the distribution and keeping of food supplies.

Kite, as leader, has the final word on every big decision the clan makes together... but the final word is often left to interpretation, as Kite cannot speak, and his claws aren't coordinated enough for proper sign language. He mostly communicates through sharp trilling noises and elaborate games of charades. Oriel, having known him the longest as clan Second, is the most adept at deciphering what he's trying to say.
