Biography

Brigdoleir--The Leader

Mother of many and strongest dragon in the lair, Brigdoleir was designed to lead. She is a warrior, a fighter. By day, she urges trainees through the coliseum and by night she and her mate, Seaskimmer, fill nest after nest with perfectly bred soldiers. She leads by example--training young ones and grinding the venues for food, treasures, and glory.

Brigdoleir's earliest memory was waking in barren lands between domains, alone and hungry and weak. She wandered in her need for days, snapping up fresh water and the occasional insect for nourishment as she found them until she stumbled into Lightweaver's care. Tumbling stone and crumbling civilization, climbing vines and dust. Cool pools and the rustling of small prey. A lair, perfect for habitation but filled with old smells or dragons long gone. She quickly but feebly declared it her own. Weeks passed, during which she fed and rested, gathering new strength. Day by day, she grew and expanded her territory. And within her grew a new hunger--a Guardian hunger. She collected piecemeal in a vain attempt to satisfy her unknown need, but pebbles and mosses, bones and flowers only satisfied for a minute. And then--oh! but she found him. Slipping in the shadows, skipping over the gentle waves of a fresh pond, darting in and out of the dappled light, a lone mirror. Seaskimmer. And he was hers.

Their lair expanded, their numbers grew, their hoard and reputation swelled. And all the time, they fought and trained, Brigdoleir vowing to never again be the small weak thing she once was and Seaskimmer snuggly held by her side for eternity. In repayment to the deity that saved her from sure extinction, Brigdoleir has sent up the finest and fiercest fodder to enter her clan in a never-ending tribute to the goddess of Light.
