Namri

Namri has been living in the Ruins for most of his life. He finds pleasure in caring for and watching over the plant life which surrounds the old stones. He had lived as a hermit for many years until the Guardian Irulan came to his home. She proclaimed herself as protector of the ruins, and Namri didn't mind as long as he was allowed to continue caring for his plants. Even though the clan has grown Namri still sticks to his hermit tendencies knowing the lives of his plants better than those of his companions. Though there are a few who have shown their interest in his work. He recognises Irulan and Yvaine as good friends and makes an effort to remember them.

Yvaine and Newt are the only other dragons that Namri allows to help him care for his most prized plants, they have been trained and have earned his trust.
