As the Chancellor of Windsinger's Haven, one would expect Peos to live by the rules and holy morals the city was named after. Unfortunately, Peos lives more by subverting those expectations than upholding them. When powerful visitors arrive to the city, he's on his best behavior to gain more powerful allies. Most residents, however, see him as the snake that he is -- always trying to control the flow of money, directing power into his clutches, and doing as he sees fit without being subject to the law. There are very few in the city he does not have influence over. Even Cyclone has made deals with this devil before.

Peos' temper is also renowned across the city. I mean, it's hard not to hear about it when valuables go flying out the window. Some days, you can catch servants hanging outside his window when bad news reaches them first. Who would skip out on such a rich opportunity?

As for his private life, Peos does much to ensure that his legacy would carry on. His adopted son Mercutio has been raised to be as cunning and power-hungry as he is. Bribes leave loosely from his talons (except for that pesky Ryaisk), and he leaves no desire unturned. Even his hidden relationship with Opalescent. Peos swears that she is the one thing he has left that is purely his -- and he has no intentions of letting her slip away.
