Leader: Quailstar - Tom (He/Him) - 9/9 Lives

Quailstar was only recently made leader after the death of his father, Batstar. He has had to deal with rumors his entire life, how he was only made deputy because he was the only living child of the leader. Before that, about the deaths of his sibling, whispers about how he could have been involved with it. He holds a terrible secret, but nobody knows what it is, or that it even exists, except for his mate, Mistyfoot. He swears to take it to his grave.

Medicine Cat: Owlsight - Tom (He/Him)
Owlsight is a quiet cat, staying in his den most of the time. Being so secluded, many worry about him, or whisper rumors to each other, though many strongly contest these rumors. Owlstar trusts him with each and every one of his lives, and for plenty of the warriors, that's more than enough. Whenever a cat visits the medicine den and returns, they tend to dismiss any rumors, even if they had previously been spreading some of their own. Despite the mystery that shrouds him, Owlsight is trusted in his clan, and many say he's the best medicine cat in all of the clans.

Elder: Dawntail - She-Cat (She/Her)
It started right when she returned to warrior duties, after giving birth to her first litter that had now become apprentices. After the death of Sprucepaw, her only son, Dawntail spent months hiding in the warriors' den, trying to ignore reality. When she finally returned, her tail and back legs were numb, slow. They went from slow to dead, unable to move, and the she-cat had to move to the elders' den prematurely. She still tried to help the clan, but slowly whatever had killed her legs spread, up to her waist, her chest. Mossfall died before her front paws did, drowning in the river. Owlsight says she'll die by suffocation, when her lungs finally stop working. Her only surviving kit, Sparrownose, still visits her daily, trying to keep her spirits high even as she slowly dies.

Elder: Aspenstep - She-Cat (She/Her)
Mate: Stonefur
After the death of most of her second litter, Aspenstep got tired. Tired of sadness, of misery, of pain. With Honeygaze as the only surviving kit, barely living through the greencough that killed her two siblings, she spends most of her time with her or Stonefur. Her bones ache terribly, a leftover of the sickness from that winter. She constantly has trouble breathing, but she refuses to die. She might be tired, but she isn't done yet. With Stonefur by her side, Aspenstep does the little she can to help the clan, mostly entertaining the kits and offering advice for Quailstar when there's a tough decision to make. She knows Starclan will come for her soon, but she's not leaving without Stonefur.

The past is a much safer space for Rocktail. He spends most of his time in his memories, staring into the distance as he internally relives some of the happiest moments of his life with his mate. The mate that he's never going to see again. The mate that he had to chase away, in order to give his kits a good life. He's half tempted to follow her, leave the clan and the rest of them behind, even his kits, just to see her again. Even if she hates him, he would do anything to see her again. Anything.

Driftcoat knows what he's doing is wrong. He knows Snakespark has had kits with Briarwish, knows they're mates, and knows that everyone would despise him if they figured out what was going on. But Snakespark wouldn't leave him alone, and he just wanted it to be over. He dreads the day that the truth comes out, but somehow each day where he has to lie just makes the guilt churn in his gut more and more. At this point, he doesn't know which is worse.

Silvertooth has always been close with his siblings. Dovespirit and Featherflight were always there for him, and he was always there for them. Now, he's like a second father to Featherflight's kits, though his sisters worry. He's been distracted more lately, constantly on edge. Looking for something to fight. Unsure what the problem is, and unsure how to solve it, Silvertooth's sisters are left in the dark, watching helplessly as their brother seems to fight an imaginary foe.

Looking outside in, Flintpaw lives a happy life. Despite never knowing his mother, he still adores his father and sister, eagerly following their footsteps, tail waving happily. His thought process, though, is much different. Internally, he is constantly missing his mother, wishing he could meet her, or at least have just one memory of her. Clanmates often get on his nerves, but he shoves any anger or frustration down, focusing on the joy he feels with his family. Nobody can see it but him, and he thinks that, eventually, he's going to snap.
