Cherenkov was named by Lux, inspired in the Cherenkov Effect, a phenomenon that occurs when electronic charged particles travels through water or air in supersonic velocities.

Lux does not know Cherenkov's actual name or if he even HAS a name, but Cherenkov doesn't care.

"After being swallowed by the creature, what I first thought would be certain death ended up being unpredictable bliss. For starters, the inside of the creature was well lit just like the outside, but instead of the suffocating pressure of the cold sea, the water reached my ankles. If I were to stay outside I would've been long dead, either by passing out and suffocating or just being smashed by a rock.

I spent hours thinking, having a very obvious existencial crisis, frustrated to be stuck inside these walls without finding anything at all. My reports were right, I'm always right. Under these tunnels there's energy, and a LOT of it. I can feel it in my guts. I lost everything and nobody will miss me if I meet my end down here, so no matter, I will move foward with my research.

But now that I was inside of this ancient being, i found myself astonished with the possibilities, the questions without answers. I screamed at the top of my lungs. Would this creature understand me? Do we speak the same language? Does it share a conscience such as myself? If it does, how can it see me as just food to be hunted down?

Well, I was certain two things. Number one: This creature was moving, and it was moving fast. Number two: It wasn't swallowing me. I was inside its mouth, I could see its teeth. If I moved I could trigger some kind of response, but I was too afraid. My screams went unanswered and so I just... Sat down. I looked at my gear and I saw all of the damage the vile thing had done to it. Ahh... All these hours of work.

I could feel my head bleeding. A concussion, perhaps? I couldn't say. It was hard keeping myself up. I ended up passing out and I couldn't say how much time it went by, but I woke up with everything shaking up. The creature opened its mouth and it spitted me out, very rude, if you ask me. I fell on the ground and looked around. It was... Where I started my work from. Ah. I screamed at the creature, made a vulgar sign with my hand towards its nuzzle and it just... Looked at me, confused.

I shut myself up when It started growling, though. It slowly went down the water and vanished from my sight. I now found myself alone, at night, hungry, angry(Dare I say, hangry), and with more questions than answers. I swear to god. The next time I go down there I'll take weapons or some kind of preparetion so this won't happen again!
