Biography
''Such wonderful statues you made, Anakletos... I truly hope others were just as amazed at your talent as I am now.''
A devoted researcher and archaeologist, Normand usually seems to be calm and well spoken, but is never able to hide his childlike sense of wonder and excitement with every new find.
In his dedication he has learned of many dragons whose identities had been lost to time, and with all the time he put into discovering their stories, he has ended up feeling an almost familial closeness to each one of them. Individuals so distant in time, so different from him in all sorts of ways, yet holding all that space inside his heart…
He enjoys talking about them to his fellow clan members, making sure their tales don't go lost once more. Other than that, he loves collecting every slightly interesting item he comes across. His home is like a museum, and most of the time not spent researching, writing or with friends, is spent taking good care of his collection. We can't risk ruining such wonderful pieces of history now, can we? From the smallest leaf to the largest carving, everything holds an essential fragment of knowledge from the past, and as such needs to be treasured.
Even when he happens to be away, his well educated familiar Sophia watches over everything in his absence. She doesn't at all mind staying inside, as there are so many lovely books of which she can ''''devour'''' the contents (not literally, she knows better than that now!). And not only she can: with the proper caution, he usually doesn't mind lending them, when requested. None are normally of interest to the hatchlings, so most of the time they won't be a problem. The little ones are adorable, yes, but who knows what would happen if they got their tiny claws on those precious pages...
