Arquebus Grand Clan Elder "This is not a place of honor." Council Member  Only recently reunited with his mate Bolas, Arquebus is ostensibly the 'leader' of Clan Carnelian...but in practise leaves almost all his power in the claws of Shamshir in exchange for peace and solitude. He communes often with the Plaguebringer, spending many hours in silent contemplation of his clan and their combined purpose in bringing strength to the ranks of the plague flight. In person he is generally silent and staring, but occasionally has outbursts of manic overzealousness and self-confidence, driving him forth from his lair in search of new followers or resources. Though unstable, his fierce mind is what founded this mighty lair, and what drives its purpose forward. With the advent of the emergence of Abberationkind emerging from the frothing bile of the Wyrmwound, that mind was quickly split in twain. Rising from his own dip into the twisting waters, Arquebus found sacred purpose in his..their new existence. |

==History==
Arquebus is the founder of Carnelian Clan, remaining in a position of power ever since, irregardless of his advanced age and small stature. Driven by an obsession with the mysterious ruins that support the structure of Clan Carnelian's lair, he seems fixated on the acquisition of clanmates with crystallised ruby hides. Plaguebringer knows what twisted thread of logic he's following, but despite his internal mission he does still seem to care deeply about his clan's success and the health of its members. His clanmates speak his name only in hushed tones, rather expecting that at the slightest murmur of discontent, he might be...just...right behind you. ==Relationships== He enjoys the full support of his fellow elders and his chief of security, Chakram, but many of the less senior dragons regard him with a mixture of awe and anxiety.
