Biography

ADARA
retired soldier & leader

tumblr_inline_nirti0UZyg1rwdj8f.png
Kenner founded the clan at Ichnite Valley when he was a fresh young guardian dragon without a home on the Shattered Plain. After stumbling across Adara, the two set up a camp near the routes hatchlings take when they are sent into other regions by their parents to make their fortunes. Like this, they collected several handfuls of clan members while only having one nest of eggs themselves. They sent three of the four to make their own ways, but kept one daughter, Sola, to stay with their clan. After having been established for a while, and their hatchling members had grown up, Kenner and Adara decided to join the armies of the Earthshaker, leaving behind a clan that didn’t exactly know what to do. So Kenner and Adara left the clan for several generations, expecting to serve the rest of their lives as followers of their god, so they were quite surprised when the Gladekeeper bestowed a blessing (or perhaps, a curse) on them, bringing them back into the realm of dragons. Kenner and Adara, now veterans and living plants, returned to their clan to find that a dragon who had previously left had returned and was now leader, and that their great-great-grandson kept their bloodline alive in Ichnite Valley. Now, Kenner and Adara want nothing more than rest and retirement.

Adara used to be quite the eccentric dragon, with an odd name and even odder interests, but her time serving the Earthshaker rounded her out a bit more. Now, Adara is an excellent hunter and fighter, but as she is retired, she can do not much more than critique the hunters and fighters from a distance (it’s a favorite pastime of hers). In her old age, she’s found herself more introspective and thoughtful, wondering why and how things work the way they do, and Ichnite Valley is full of interesting things to speculate about.
