The annual Star Crossing calls together dragons from only the highest walks of life. Here, beneath the clairvoyant eye of the Lady Astrologer, unpartnered dragons are matched with another of their station, blessed by the stars and the Lady Astrologer herself.

To defy such a blessing would be social suicide for the pair and their families. Yet, beneath the twinkling skies of the Star Crossing, two dragons catch not the eyes of their newly betrothed, but of each other. Emotions surge like a tidal wave, and after an elicit encounter, they must decide whether to follow the path set out by their families and peers or to follow their hearts, even if it brings the stars crashing down on everyone around them.
