Biography

No one knows where he came from. One day he just appeared on the Shattered Plain, heavy and grey like the rocks of the Dragonhome, legs and tail encased in stone, sharp fins resembling slivers of flint and deep brown eyes just like those of Children of Stone.

"Saar", he rumbled, voice gravelly and hoarse from disuse.

And for the Children of Stone, that was enough to give him shelter without any further questions - those are for Spirals, who look but do not see, hear but rarely listen. The Earth feels the heavy steps of the Guarding One and quakes in unison, and her Children trust that their sleep will not be disturbed when Saar is keeping watch over the Dragonhome.
